Munira graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology (suma cum laude) from Saint John's University  (NYC) in 2005 and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2007 from Midwestern University (IL) . She has since worked in a variety of settings including outpatient pediatrics, schools, acute care, orthopedics, and neurology.  

Munira's passion lies in working with children and she strives to make therapy sessions client-centered, educational, and most importantly — interesting and FUN! Recognizing the essential role that "play" has in development helps her facilitate growth through this occupation, which fuels her in the world of pediatric therapy. She continues to learn how outstanding a child's brain can be!  She always endeavors to make the child feel supported and collaborate with families to better understand their concerns and ways she can support them outside of therapy sessions. 

Munira  has experience treating a range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing disorder, neurological disorders, ADHD, developmental delays, low muscle tone, coordination difficulties, and fine-motor delays. Munira is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears program, Therapeutic Listening, DIR/Floortime, and is currently taking Continuing Education Classes to obtain her Certificate of Clinical Competence in ADHD (CCC-ADHD). She additionally has a strong passion for vision and helping to address visual-motor & visual-perceptual issues (ex. convergence insufficiency, tracking, saccades) in children of all ages alongside collaborations with developmental optometrists and is becoming certified as a functional vision rehab specialist (CFVRS).

Munira lives in the western suburbs of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and fueling their creative side by working on crafts, Lego building, and jigsaw puzzles. She also volunteers every Saturday at Her community’s religious education school to teach children with special needs. In her free time, you will find Munira enjoying her personal hobby of indoor rock climbing! 

 Kaylee graduated from Calvin University with her Bachelors degree in Social Work, and Lewis University with her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Kaylee has experience working with children and young adults in their home and clinic settings. She has treated clients with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD/ADHD, and anxiety. She has extensive experience addressing mental health, social skills, executive functioning, and independent living skills. Kaylee is passionate about taking a strengths based approach in working with clients and their families to help them achieve their own unique goals. Kaylee also has experience with Primitive Reflex Integration and The Astronaut Training Program. In her free time, Kaylee enjoys going to the aquarium with her husband and son and walking their French bulldog.

Umama graduated from California State University of Long Beach with her Bachelors degree in Human Development, and Lewis University with her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Umama has experience working in the adult and pediatric population addressing a diverse range of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, as well as fine/gross motor and visual-motor/perceptual delays. Passionate about fostering engagement and participation, Umama loves to incorporate a play-based approach to therapy, ensuring that children not only achieve their goals but also have fun in the process. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband, whether that be on the couch watching a movie or discovering new restaurants, coffee shops, or bakeries in Chicago.

Jacqulyn graduated in 2021 from Elmhurst College with a bachelors degree in communication sciences and disorders and a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. She holds a  Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology.

Jacqulyn spends her days working with students in the Chicago Public School System, after-which she continues her passion here at Color Along in an outpatient setting.  

As a pediatric speech therapist, Jacqulyn  specializes in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and literacy delays and disorders.  She is committed to using the most efficient, evidence-based treatment methods to help your child improve their communication and literacy skills.  

Lauren graduated with both her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2006 and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2008 from Illinois State University.

She has multiple years of practice as a school based SLP. While working in the schools Lauren served on the district assistive technology team and helped develop a disability awareness program. She enjoyed collaborating with Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Music Therapists to support her student's needs.

Lauren's communication interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and executive function support, and language and literacy. Her goal is to make every patient feel valued and connected to others through their communication.

Lauren lives in the Western suburbs of Chicago with her family. Outside of work she can be found spending time with her family,  enjoying the outdoors, volunteering at her childrens' school, reading, and participating in her church's Women's Faith Group.

 Traci graduated from Bradley University with her Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Sciences-Dietetics, Eastern Illinois University with her Masters degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and Governors State University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Traci has experience working with children in home, school, aquatic and clinic settings. She has treated clients with a variety of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, developmental delays, Down syndrome and torticollis. Traci has taken continuing education classes in infant positioning, torticollis, motor planning, toe walking and neuroplasticity. Her favorite part of being a pediatric physical is seeing the excitement in her kids and their families when they learn a new skill.  In her free time, Traci enjoys running and spending time with her husband and daughter.  

Warda is in charge of intake, registration, scheduling, and keeping our office running smoothly! She is currently studying to obtain her masters in healthcare administration and comes to Color Along with a lot of enthusiasm to keep things organized, making sure parent questions are being answered, and to be a liaison between the doctor's offices and the families we serve.  

 Jumana works with insurance companies and is our liaison with our billing company to ensure things are running smoothly in claims processing. She also works to complete pre-authorizations and session approvals for those patients who's insurance requires it. With her Bachelor's degree from Mumbai University and over 7 years of experience as a business analyst, Jumana is an expert in getting the "behind the scenes" of Color Along working as smoothly, efficiently, and accurately as possible. Outside of work, you can find her volunteering at her community's religious ed school teaching elementary aged children, at home spending time with her twin girls and son, or exploring nature outdoors.
