About Therapy
What Is Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy supports children who have challenges with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, or participating in everyday routines at home, school, and in the community. It helps children develop the practical skills they need to dress, write, play, focus, and move through their day more independently. Therapy focuses on improving hand skills, body coordination, sensory regulation, and daily living skills while building confidence and success in real-life activities. Sessions are designed to feel supportive and engaging, helping children participate more comfortably in routines, learning, and play.
