Umama earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Lewis. University after completing her Bachelor’s in Human Development at California State University, Long Beach.
Clinical Superpower: Umama has experience with both adults and children, but her true passion lies in pediatrics. She addresses a diverse range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and sensory processing challenges. She has a special focus on integrating primitive reflexes and improving visual-motor and fine/gross motor delays.
Favorite Activities: Umama believes therapy should be play-based! You can often find her in the gym engaging children in gross motor obstacle courses—her favorite way to foster participation while helping kids achieve their goals.
Fun Fact: Outside of the clinic, Umama loves baking and spending time with her husband. They enjoy cozy movie nights on the couch or exploring Chicago to discover new restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries!
