Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center, a B.A. in Psychology from UT Austin, and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
Clinical Superpower: Laura shines when working with babies with torticollis! She also specializes in treating children with neurological diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, genetic disorders, and TBI. She holds a certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and has extensive training in pediatric vestibular therapy.
Why She Loves Pediatrics: Laura loves that children don’t have set ways of moving yet, so they respond to therapy quickly! She gets energized by watching them tackle new challenges with persistence and excitement. In fact, she leaves the clinic feeling energized every single day.
Favorite Activities: Her absolute favorite tool is the therapy ball—she believes nothing else comes close to the variety of activities and fun you can have with it!
Fun Fact: Laura has a Goldendoodle named Kodi. In her free time, she loves reading, doing needlework and puzzles, playing the piano, and playing with her grandchildren. Her all-time favorite kids’ movie is the original cartoon version of The Grinch.
